Yoga for Mums - Postnatal Yoga & Beyond in Ashby

I am so excited to teach this course again starting in April of 2026 and running throughout the Spring & Summer months.


This is my evening, specialist led yoga class for mums at every stage - postnatal and beyond on Thursday evenings from 8-9pm in Ashby.


Whether you are a few months postnatal or a few years in, this class has been designed for you. Postpartum really is forever but we can alleviate so much through gentle, yet impactful yoga and movement to help support you and build strength in your body. I believe that what we experience post birth can impact us many months and even years later into motherhood and this is why this is much needed.



Our bodies are and feel different after birth. They need different movement postnatally and to feel safe, supported, and nurtured with the goal of feeling strong again.


After my first birth almost six years ago, I really lacked postnatal knowledge of what was happening and why. After a very long and difficult labour and then experiencing the depths of birth trauma, my body felt broken.


I wish I knew back then that I wasn't broken - instead I was experiencing some huge physical and emotional changes changes and the impact that birth has on our bodies. I also didn't know what I do now - both personally and professionally.


Our bodies benefit hugely from specialised movement and exercises, designed specially for women for issues they are experiencing.. whether that's pelvic floor weakness, rebuilding core strength, aches and pains in lower back, tight shoulders from feeding or just feeling really exhausted physically and emotionally.


Why Yoga for Mums including Postnatal Mums in Ashby?


It was important for me to create a class suitable for mums of every stage following birth - newly postnatal and also 'not so new' mums who may be raising toddlers or older children.


It is much needed and much deserved time to breathe, move and reconnect with your body through the magic of yoga.


You don't need to be flexible or strong or experienced - just ready for an hour that's all yours. I bring all the equipment needed to support you, you just come as you are..
