What Can I Expect?
Specialist led yoga for new and 'not so new' mums.. a unique class in Ashby de la Zouch.. Whether you are a few months postnatal or a few years in, this class has been designed for YOU - it is much needed alone time to move and reconnect with your body Whether you are in the early months after birth or a little further along your journey raising toddlers or older children, this is a class for all stages of motherhood as it FOCUSES on rebuilding strength in your pelvic floor and improving your core strength while easing out the common aches and tension that comes from the demands of motherhood. You don't need to be flexible or strong or experienced - just ready for an hour that's all yours. The many benefits of Yoga for Mums: Strengthen your pelvic floor muscles Improve your core strength Ease tightness, aches and pains Increase energy levels Nourishing breath work to calm your nervous system Deep relaxation at the end of class to fill your own cup Can improve postnatal depression and anxiety symptoms No babies, no demands - just space for you to reconnect to your body, build strength where it's much needed and be supported by a community of other mums who get it and are on the same journey. Sharing experiences and space with others can help you feel heard, listened to and nurtured - something that is so important in motherhood. These classes are inclusive and also suitable for early postnatal mums to heal & recover from all types of birth: Yoga for Mums is suitable from 8 weeks postpartum if you have had a straightforward vaginal birth / 1st or 2nd degree tear. If you have had an assisted delivery (vaginal or Caesarean birth) or a 3rd or 4th degree tear or an episiotomy, please wait until 10-12 weeks postpartum. You are welcome to Yoga for Mums whatever stage you are at.. I am 2 years postpartum with my second child and I still love practicing these sequences - they still continue to work and nourish my body and build the strength I need, as I know so many others that need this too. Cancellation Policy
General: Participants taking part in sessions and classes with the understanding that the content is not intended to replace or represent medical advice. Participants should seek advice of a health care professional and/or midwife for any health related or specific pregnancy/postnatal related issues that they are experiencing. Payment: Your place is secured by full payment of the fees in advance of starting the course. Missed sessions: In the event of a participant missing a session, the session is non-refundable however classes can be taken over a 7 week period to allow for any missed classes. In the unlikely event that Mother Nurture Natal has to cancel a session, attempts will be made to reschedule as soon as possible. If this is not possible and an alternative date cannot be agreed upon, the participant will receive a refund for the session. Breaks in the block: Mother Nurture Natal reserve the right to pause a block booking and will give as much notice as possible for any sessions planned to be postponed. Participants will not lose a session, the block will be resumed as soon as possible and any sessions the participant cannot attend due to the pause in sessions, will be refunded.
