Support for your postnatal journey and beyond

Motherhood changes everything - your body, your identity, your confidence, your relationships, your pace of life.

Whether you are newly postnatal and navigating life as a new mum - or months or maybe a few years into motherhood and craving some space and time for yourself, I have created spaces to support you.

Yoga that focusses on your recovery and well-being, re-building your strength through movement that is specialist-led and deeply impactful.

So come as you are; whether that is sleep deprived, craving connection with other mothers or simply needing a space to breathe and introduce yoga back to your body after birth.

Yoga can support your physical recovery and emotional wellbeing.

Mum & baby yoga

Classes booked in 6 week blocks

Wednesday mornings 10:00-11:00am

Mum and baby yoga offers a welcoming space where you can come exactly as you are. Feeding, changing, rocking, cuddling, crying babies - it is all okay here.

These classes gently support your postnatal recovery with movement designed to help rebuild strength, improve posture, release tension from feeding and carrying and reconnect with your pelvic floor and deep core in a supportive way.

This is a space to just be, to exhale. To meet other mothers. To feel less alone in the intensity and transformative season of early motherhood.

To focus on your emotional well-being and nervous system regulation which is just as important.

To bond and connect with your baby.

Next course available will start 3rd June

Birth trauma resolution

Sessions available in person in my studio space in Ashby, or in the comfort of your own home.

A very warm and gentle welcome to you reading this - experiencing a traumatic or difficult birth can be distressing in many ways.

I understand how complex it can be and how it can significantly impact many aspects of your life and of your motherhood experience.

It is a big step to even start considering support. I wholeheartedly hope you find this helpful if you or someone you know has experienced birth trauma.

I would like to share a little about what I offer, so you can get a sense of whether it might feel right for you. I am a trained perinatal and birth trauma 3 step process practitioner and offer individual support on a one to one basis.

My approach is trauma-informed, warm, gentle and supportive without needing to retell or relive the experience in detail, if this is your preference.

The sessions I offer provide a calm, supportive space to gently process any difficult feelings or memories connected to your birth experience. It is a process which aims to restore a sense of peace and well-being through a guided meditative type approach, which is highly effective and impactful.

Together we will work with how your experience is impacting you now, using gentle guided relaxation and visualisation techniques to help your mind and body release those difficult emotions, allowing your nervous system to settle.

This is different to a NHS birth debrief as it is not within an NHS hospital setting which is often a trigger for many. It is also not facilitated by someone from the hospital or from a medical point of view.

My focus is on the way you feel and supporting you through those emotions in a un-biased, non-medical way.

Many find the 3 step process helps them to

- Feel more grounded and emotionally balanced

- Reduce anxiety, tension, or triggers related to their experience

- Reconnect with their body and sense of self

- Move forward positively with a sense of resolution and peace

The process can also help support a partner or birth partner with their individual experience.

Investment: £160

Includes session one: 60 mins-80mins

session two: 60mins
